Can't be a mom AND watch tv

I was just watching the Today Show and they had a segment about fire safety in your home. The fire chief is walking the reporter through what to do. He went into the nursery and showed him how to get the baby out of the crib without standing up. I had to change the channel fast because I thought I was going to cry. It was just a doll. I think I have to go check on my baby now. Then go to bed before I freak out. :)

  1. Yep, it's the curse of being a mom. I can't tell you how mamy times I rehearsed in my mind what I'd do if, while driving over a bridge, for some reason the car went over the side and I had to get both boys out. It's all just part of that protective 'Mama Bear' thing we all go through. And, sad to say, it never really goes away! It just means you're a good mommy!

  2. Tracy is right , it will never go away. You will put your children first above anyone else in your life. Now I have grandchildren and great grandchildren to worry about also! The thought of anything happening to Melanie is more than you can bare or (bear).
