Melanie and I went to Sankeien Garden today with Amy & the twins. Here are the pics: http://s132.photobucket.com/albums/q19/rainsongs/Sankeien%20Nov%2008/
Here are pics Amy took. There are some beautiful ones of Melanie and I. http://flickr.com/photos/amy_spurgeon/sets/72157609263186869/
Those twins are just adorable. Bet they keep Amy running! Loved the pic of Melanie with a flower tucked by her head too. CUTE! :-)
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures. Has Amy studied photograph or art? She has a very good eye for framing and picture interest. Some would make beautiful post cards.(or even Xmas cards). Makes me want to pick up my paint brush.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is when you are looking down at Melanie like no one else in the world exists.
I can just see mischief oozing out of the twins, but that's what makes them so cute.

Amy says "that's so sweet! tell her thank you very much. now if only i could learn more! and lmao at her comment about the twins. "
ReplyDeleteHi everyone! :)
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say thank you for thinking my photography is inspiring enough to want to pick up your paint brush! :) I am still very amateur, but I have so much passion for photography that someday I hope to start my own business. I am definitely more encouraged to pursue photography when I hear praise from others, so thank you. :)
You said it perfectly about mischief oozing out of my twins...it's so true! :D They are wonderful, but my goodness they definitely get into trouble. LOL. :D
I also wanted to say I think it is so great that you all stay in touch through Lori and Dan's blog. It is so difficult to stay connected when your family is half a world away, and to know that you all stay connected truly warms my heart.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! :)
To Amy;
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a chance to pursue your photography.
I know you are coming to Whidbey Island soon. There is tons of places to photography there. Maybe someday we will all get a chance to meet you and thank you in person for being such a great and loyal friend to Lori.
Bet wishes to you and your family for the holidays,
Grandma Snyder
To Linda:
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, I will be in Whidbey Island in late January. I am so excited to move back to WA (I was born and raised in SW WA). I've heard that area is gorgeous. I can't wait to photograph all the beautiful beaches, etc.
That would be great to get together. Your family is so sweet!
Happy Thanksgiving,
Amy
