I'm still waiting.......

And I think I am going to be waiting for a long time.

  1. Sorry to hear that you are still waiting.
Find something to do to keep your mind occupied. Waiting will only drive you crazy.
Like Tracy said you know they are home when the pull in the driveway.
I know easier said that done...

    Love you,
    Dad

  2. It is all easier said then done.
I keep getting excited about him coming home and then something changes. It is emotionally tiring.

  3. Sure would be a lot easier if you didn't love your husband so much.............of course then you wouldn't be in Japan at all!

Fast forward 15 years.....3 or 4 kids, a cat and a dog, lawn to mow, band practice, baseball practice, maybe piano lessons or dance lessons.......I hear.......I hope Danny gets back pretty soon....... to drive the other car! Don't laugh it is coming. : )

  4. Will this affect your coming back for your visit? That's always my worry when we make vacation plans, something will go awry with Dan's leave. So far, knock on wood, it's never happened.

Having them not come home when you expect is almost as frustrating as having them not leave when they're supposed to. Oops, that's through the eyes of Navy wife of almost 24 years. It really does get easier, I promise. Your grandmother is right, once you have kids, you'll be so busy, the only time you'll notice he's gone will be when you need him to run to the store for a gallon of milk! ;-)
