I haven't written for a few days because I have been busy with all my students and I've also been helping the Christmas program at church as the stage manager. I also just bought a Christmas tree from the NEX (and that comes with a funny story) and am busy decorating and cleaning. I gotta drag my behind to the gym in and hour and a half too.
How is everyone else doing?
Glad to hear you bought a Christmas tree. I think we may put ours up this weekend, at some point. I finally finished that navy blue felted purse, it came out pretty cute.
ReplyDeleteSpeed run into town, then back home to finish taking care of odds and ends before going back to work tomorrow. Another week and a half, and it's winter break for us, yay!!! XXOOX Mom/Tracy
Glad you are keeping busy. Wish I could see how the play turns out, never thought of you as a stage manager, your resumé is going to be huge.
ReplyDeleteHad to get a tree....just couldn't help yourself.....why am I not surprised. If you were here I'm sure Grandpa and your Dad would have to hang the outside lights.
Your Dad and Cheryl are going to decorate the front yard......me?.... I'm going to watch!
Grandma
Cheryl says we are decorating.
ReplyDeleteI am working in Tacoma all week so if we are it will have to be next weekend.
We were at Connie and Larry's all day, first the ladies were making cookies then after dark we went to zoo lights.
The zoo lights were ok seems like the same old thing to me.
Cheryl says we are getting tree, I hope it is small.
Good to see all is going well,
ReplyDeleteAll is well here in the Western front. This week is finals- don't have any exams but a huge presentation on the CMS site I developed over the quarter. Other than that, our Christmas lights look strikingly like...hummm 4 guys looking at the reds, and blues and greens of a Master Chief on an unknown ring like planet. Fa la la la la, la la la LA.
~Cheers
AJ, it is clear that the general fatigue of being a grad student has taken a toll on your mental wellbeing.
ReplyDeleteDanny & AJ, you two made me crack up! thanks for that! XXOOX Mom/psuedo mom
ReplyDeleteHey! That wasn't Danny! That was me (aka Lori); you know, your daughter-in-law. I can be funny too!
ReplyDeleteOh my, and all this time I thought that was just Danny when it said "dlkjapan". Wonder how many other amusing things I've attributed to my son that was actually you. Girl, that was hysterical! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL. Originally dlkjapan was supposed to be both of us, but Danny has his own google account so he is kiitana. You won't see him on that often.
ReplyDeleteI am still me
