I love the rain. It makes me think of home.
I know this picture looks bright, but it is actually pretty dark and gloomy outside today. I haven't seen rain here in quite a few weeks so it is a nice change of pace. Now it just means that the kids will be inside for recess. Having hyped up kids (Valentines candy) all in the same room (Kindergarten- 5th grade) creates a lot of injuries...

Rain looks cool only when it is in someone elses back yard. Our ground is so soggy nothing can be planted yet.
ReplyDeleteUnless you have a really large area, the best way to get rid of grass is cut under the roots and just take off the slab of grass. If you had more time you can also put plastic down and it will kill the grass, but you still need elbow grease to get it out of the flower bed. What is your soii like? Clay, rock, sand, or all the above. You will probably have to work in some fertilizer to amend the soil.
