Yes it does look a little sparse, but will really spread, don't forget fertilizer, just don't overdo or you will burn everything up. Do you have tall plants, and what, in the background. I'm sure that any annuals we grow here would do great in Japan. Too bad I didn't send over some seed packages. You could have had a country scatter garden. Yes flower gardeneing can get very expensive in just a short while! Don't overlook pots of flowers for color that you can move around. Also pots can be saved. Gram
